It’s been a busy year for MJH Multi. Amongst creating quality projects for our clients, we’ve taken an active role in giving back to the communities that we are working in.
Through the McDonald Jones Foundation, the MJH Multi team and our subcontractors, we’ve had the opportunity to support a number of organisations that are making a meaningful contribution to local families.
We recently gathered the team working on Glenhaven Green Retirement Village together to raise money through site BBQ’s and raffles for a community organisation we feel very strongly about.
As a result, we dropped in to the Ronald McDonald House at Westmead Children’s Hospital this week to donate $16,200 to their very worthy cause. This was a fantastic contribution from the entire team and we are so proud to be able to do our bit for an important organisation that provides accommodation and support to families facing childhood illness.
"It was incredible to actually go in and see the efforts of the volunteers who help to provide families with a home away from home in such difficult times," our General Manager for NSW, Ben Mathers said.
The Ronald McDonald House team and volunteers were ecstatic and very thankful for the contribution.
"I just wanted to thank you for coming to the house today to make the donation," Josh Binns, Corporate Programs Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House Westmead said.
"It is such an incredible effort and really does make a difference to the house. It is the equivalent of covering the cost of over 105 nights at Ronald McDonald House Westmead."
