Vantage Estate

MJH Multi was engaged by Defence Housing Australia (DHA) to design and construct 18 single dwellings located within the Port Stephens Region at the Vantage Estate in Corlette.

As well as the design and construction of 18 x four bedroom homes, the project scope also included landscaping, fencing, concrete driveways and paths, connection of all new underground services and construction of retaining walls and stormwater easements.

The homes are rated as a Rent Band 3 (RB3) home for the use of defence personnel from the Williamtown RAAF Base. The homes are also designed to meet Silver Level in accordance with Liveable Housing Design Guidelines.

The project, which had an agreed short construction timeframe, was completed in less than six months. All homes were completed to a high standard and the project was delivered four weeks ahead of the contracted Practical Completion date.
